General Pricing
Pricing is always a difficult topic when it comes to custom made products, when no two pieces are exactly the same. There are many factors that influence the final price for a piece, including :-
-
Type of wood being used, Walnut is much more expensive that Oak or Beech
-
The size of the piece of wood being used, wider flatter boards of hardwood are more expensive than narrow pieces as they are less common
-
The amount of machining and processing required to achieve the desired result, in particular how much carving and resin work is required
-
The finishing being applied to the finished piece, finishing often takes longer than making the piece
-
How much time overall is needed to create the piece
